Request Data Access

Follow the process below to submit your request for access to UBC data. To avoid delays, please ensure that your submission is complete, clear and consistent.

The Business Intelligence team is available for consultation prior to completing the Data Access Request form. They will guide you through the details needed to be documented in the request.

DEVELOPER API ACCESS

Prerequisite Access to the UBC MuleSoft CloudHub Exchange Viewer is required. Submit a ticket via the IT Self Service Portal to request for access. Refer to FAQs (#15) for the details required in your submission.

Complete the form. Insufficient details about your request may result in denial of the request or delay in the review process.

Next Steps

  1. If you have a Campus Wide Login (CWL) account, you will receive an IT Service Centre ticket number via email within 1 business day. You can view the request via the View My Records section within the IT Self-Service Portal. If you do not have a CWL account, you will receive an email acknowledging the receipt of your request.
  2. Your request will go through a review and approval process. Depending on the complexity of the request, turnaround time may vary. Every effort is made to process data requests in a timely manner.
  3. Upon approval, you will be required to sign the relevant Data Access Acknowledgement or Agreement prior to data release.
