The UBC IT and Office of the CIO’s Inclusive Action Plan (IAP) outlines the priorities in support of advancing equity, diversity and inclusion within our teams.
These priorities align with the university’s implementation of equity and anti-racism priorities and evaluation of progress as outlined in UBC’s Strategic Equity and Anti-Racism (StEAR) Framework. They are also in line with results collected from the 2023 UBC IT and OCIO Baseline EDI Survey.
The IAP outlines five objectives and ten actions that the EDI Committee will focus on in the near term. An important part of this plan includes the ongoing tracking and reporting of our progress and shared learnings to support the continuous improvement of our efforts to ensure that UBC IT provides an inclusive, welcoming environment that values and celebrates equity and diversity.
